My path to Product Design is built on a strong foundation of
Computer Science, including a Master's from the US and 3.5 years
as a Software Engineer at W. R. Berkley. This corporate
experience, followed by a dive into Berlin's dynamic startup
culture, gave me a panoramic view of product development.
It was in Berlin, as part of the fantastic team at Miss Moneypenny
Technologies, that I discovered my true calling.
Working in a smaller, agile environment meant my contributions directly shaped the product. I thrived in collaborative discussions with founders, PMs, and the design and development teams, constantly exploring how we could enhance client value. This experience of being intimately involved in product strategy and design was incredibly fulfilling.
⬅️ Participating in a InsureTech event where I got to talk to many talented people and curious clients about our product was an experience to remember.
Getting to do that in Köln was an added bonus.
This passion for the entire product lifecycle led me to fully embrace Product Design.
My engineering background is now a powerful asset: understanding code and system architecture is second nature,
allowing me to design feasible solutions and communicate seamlessly with development teams.
The exciting challenge is shifting my primary lens from logical problem-solving to deeply understanding user perspectives;
a skill I significantly honed through my StepVerse and
Curio projects with CareerFoundry.
This journey into product design has been fantastic, and I'm really looking forward to what's next. Feel free to dive into my work. I'd be happy to chat!
